Workshops and Life Drawing

Very sadly the SGA committee has decided to cancel the remaining two workshops that we had organised for the remainder of this year.  We have also cancelled the last Life Drawing sessions in October.  The reason inevitably is the increased restrictions and increasing number of cases of Covid-19.  The overriding factor was that we felt in the current circumstances we could not guarantee your safety in a close environment for a full day.  Our thanks go to Brian Reynolds (October Workshop) and Brenda Molyneux (November Workshop) for their understanding and apologies and thanks to all those that had fully booked these two workshops despite the pandemic.  Those that had booked and paid are offered either a full refund or a credit for an future workshop with no additional cost. Just email

On the good news front, we have already planned the majority of the workshop programme for next year with many of the SGA favourite tutors agreeing to run a day for us.  They are planned to start in March and we may have a shorter notice one earlier in the year if circumstances permit.  The full programme and exhibitions news will be sent out in a Newsletter soon.

Until then, stay safe, keep painting, and we look forward to seeing you all when some form of normality returns.
