Cart Shed Studio at Bull Mill Arts, near Warminster – Tutor – Nick Andrew
Now booking for the next 6 week session, week starting 7th January until week starting 14th February 2019 (there are still last minute spaces left for forthcoming session 22nd Oct – 26 Nov 2018).
Develop your individual approach to making art in the Cart Shed, a purpose built and fully equipped painting studio in the relaxed and creative ambience of Bull Mill Arts, near Warminster, under the guidance of Nick Andrew and surrounded by stunning riverside, woodland and meadow landscapes.
The studio is yours for the same day each week (Mondays, Tuesdays or Wednesdays) for 6 weeks (times: 10am – 4.30pm or longer by arrangement), working at your own pace, developing ideas, skills and confidence.
Outline: on the first week we begin with an informal appraisal seminar, looking at a selection of your work and sketchbooks, discussing ideas, where you see your work progressing, what you would like to achieve and working out a programme for the 6 weeks. I have 25 years experience in teaching a broad spectrum of art and believe my role is to encourage you to play, experiment and build on your creative potential to develop your own individual approach to making art (since opening last October students have followed a wide range of approaches and media, including abstract landscape, portraiture and illustration to conceptual work, travelogue drawing and mixed media still life).
Fee: £288, payable by bank transfer or cheque.
