Summer expo 2025 Summer Exhibition 2025, 2nd- 29th August

We achieved a very satisfactory 33 sales this summer: our congratulations go to Loraine Sherlock who won the Public Vote with her lovely textile picture “Rocky Shoreline”.
The Library is celebrating its 50th year anniversary this year, and the SGA’s annual Summer Exhibition was there at the beginning (though has also been held at other venues).
We are grateful to everyone at the library, and also of course to our exhibition team  - Jill, Annie, Becky, Pam, Sarah and Ros – who kept the show on the road so well.

Joint Expo Spring 25 InstaJoint Exhibition with Plain Arts, Saturday 5th April – Thursday 1st May 2025

For the second year running, we twinned with Plain Arts to showcase some of the best art which Salisbury and the surrounding area has to offer.
More than 60 exhibitors contributed some 180 artworks.
Huge thanks are due to the hanging team who made a wonderful job of setting up the exhibition to present our work to best effect, to the broader exhibition team who managed everything so well, and of course to the members of both groups who exhibited some memorable artworks and stewarded so ably.

Ten paintings were sold, contributing more than £300 to help fund the many art activities run by ArtCare in health settings, and to support wellbeing more widely. It followed on from similarly successful Artcare exhibitions held in previous years.
