Seascapes using Watercolour with David Webb
David Webb paints loose and fluid watercolours. He has written several artbooks and regularly contributes articles to Leisure Painter magazine. David will look at how to develop an effective plan for a seascape through studies and sketches which consider design, focus, tonal values, colour and hard/soft edges, before demonstrating how quickly he builds up a painting in about three simple transparent washes. Of particular value to anyone wanting to “loosen up”, David’s workshop will be of benefit to all – and the techniques he employs can, of course, be used on any subject matter.
Saturday 28 November

As well as exhibitions in London and the south of England, he has undertaken many commissions for individuals and organisations including The National Trust.
