Visit to Salisbury Museum on Sunday, January 18th, to view the Open Landscape Exhibition.
This event was well attended and thanks to all that came along. I think that the general opinion was that the artworks on view where quite different from the conventional landscapes many of us might have expected, with a variety of mediums employed. varying from ceramics, pottery, wire work, watercolour on aluminium, needlework pins, photography, to name but a few. So much food for thought.
We followed the viewing with tea and friendly chat in the museum’s cafe. It was an enjoyable end to the afternoon.
