Seascapes using Watercolour with David Webb, September 2026
I attended David Webb’s watercolour workshop and I can honestly confirm that this was the best day course I have ever attended. David came from Paignton, Devon to teach us. He has also written a book that Mike called his ‘Bible’. He spent time with each attendee helping to produce more accomplished and competent art.David spent two hours demonstrating how he works and the methods he uses. He gave us a print out of the 3 steps in the process beginning with ‘wet in wet’. He used five colours: raw sienna, burnt sienna , cobalt blue, alizarin crimson and Indian yellow. Before lunch we created our own seascapes and mine was of Sidmonton beach. David spent 45 minutes demonstrating the effects of waves washing up on cliffs. Lunch was provided by SGA enjoyed by all.
